W dniu 19 czerwca w budynku Polskiej Akademii Umiejętności w Krakowie odbędzie się sesja naukowa z okazji 100. rocznicy śmierci wybitnego polskiego fizyka i filozofa przyrody - Mariana Smoluchowskiego (1872-1917).
Rocznica ta jest doskonałą okazją aby przyjrzeć się z perspektywy czasu filozoficznemu dorobkowi tego uczonego i jego roli w kształtowaniu się krakowskiej filozofii przyrody. Sesji towarzyszyć będzie prezentacja specjalnego numeru ZFN poświęconego Smoluchowskiemu (zawiera m.in. niepublikowane wcześniej rękopisy uczonego).
